The Vertex agreement, in plain language
You are joining a platform built to last a hundred years. The rules here are not designed for growth at any cost. They are designed to keep this place worth being in.
You agree to read these terms. They are short on purpose. There are no hidden clauses; what is in this document is what governs your time on Vertex.
What you agree to
You agree to be one verified human. One account per person. You will not impersonate, role-play another person, or create accounts on behalf of organisations that do not have a Publisher or Sponsor profile.
You agree to participate kindly. Mitram will quietly guide difficult conversations toward THINK — True, Helpful, Inspiring, Necessary, Kind. We will not penalise disagreement. We will discourage cruelty.
You agree that your reading patterns may shape what Vertex shows you next, but never what is shown to anyone else. There is no shared social graph that surveils what you read.
What we agree to
We will never sell your data. We will never share it with advertisers. The Ad Adda marketplace exists precisely because we do not run on personal data.
We will never use dark patterns to keep you here longer. The reading caps, the day-wrap nudges, the Sanctuary mode — these are real. Profit will not change them.
We will explain every change we make to these terms with at least 30 days’ notice and a plain-language summary.
What happens if you leave
You can delete your account at any time, from Settings → Data Charter. We will permanently delete your profile, your circles, your messages, your reading history within seven days.
Your published creative work — pieces, audio, video — remains under your control. You can delete it, leave it, or transfer it elsewhere; we will help with the transfer.
Accolades and VMR recognitions you have earned will remain in the public registry, attributed to your name, even after you leave. This is a record of the contribution. It cannot be deleted.
Disputes
If you have a dispute with Vertex or another user, you can write to disputes@sequspace.com. A human will read it within three working days and write back.
If the matter requires legal escalation, it will be heard under the jurisdiction of Bhubaneswar, Odisha, India. Both parties agree to attempt mediation in good faith before any court proceeding.
